The Crypto.com cryptocurrency debit card automatically converts your crypto to fiat for purchases and offers up to 5% cashback. It can be used at millions of Visa-supported stores with no fees and is only available through the Crypto.com app.

The Crypto.com Card has five different tiers, and the volume of CRO is the key threshold for obtaining a better cashback rate. The Crypto.com debit card is available to everyone, but only customers who stake CRO are eligible for cashback and rewards. Staked amounts are locked up for 180 days, and you can earn an additional interest of up to 8% per annum on the staked amounts.

The NFT marketplace at Crypto.com allows users to mint, buy, sell, and showcase NFTs without a third-party platform. Crypto.com allows deposits of over 250 cryptocurrencies and fiat options like AUD, EUR, and GBP with no deposit fees on the mobile app. Trading fees start at 0.075% for makers and takers, with discounts based on trading volume or CRO stake.

There are no fees for transferring crypto assets to an external wallet, but mining fees apply for withdrawals. For example, the BTC withdrawal fee is 0.0005 BTC, and the ETH withdrawal fee is 0.004 ETH for ERC-20 tokens.

Our Experience Using Crypto.com

Most of Crypto.com’s features are accessed through its mobile app. The app includes the NFT marketplace, wallet management tools, and portfolio overview. The Crypto.com Exchange, accessible on a desktop, offers trading features and a trading chart from TradingView with advanced indicators and real-time trading volume information. We found this to be very similar to trading on MEXC (read our review next).

The Crypto.com platform offers slightly enhanced trading features, such as live market charts and market highlights, making it accessible for beginners. Users can buy and sell crypto by clicking the 'Trade' button. This provides a comprehensive overview of the asset, including a live chat, order books, and trading history. However, the platform only supports spot trading.

The absence of futures and derivatives trading is also a significant drawback and you may want to look at other platforms we’ve reviewed, such as Binance and Bybit, which offers leverage trading.. The platform offers multiple order types, such as market, limit, and stop-loss limits, providing trade control. However, it lacks advanced features like margins and futures, meaning users cannot use leverage or capitalize on sophisticated options like shorting Bitcoin.

Crypto.com Mobile App

The Crypto.com app is a user-friendly trading platform for Android and iOS devices. It allows users to trade, buy and sell NFTs, earn crypto, store assets using the in-house crypto wallet, and make offline payments using prepaid debit cards. The app also features the Crypto.com Card and the Pay service, which enables purchasing gift cards, airtime, and money transfers to contacts.

Spot trading isn't available on the mobile app. You can only buy and sell individual cryptocurrencies. For spot trading, you'll need to use the desktop Exchange platform. The mobile app features a standalone wallet for fiat currency and a built-in crypto wallet. However, the 'Soft Staking' feature is unavailable in the Crypto.com app.

The staking feature offers high rewards but requires a significant commitment of CRO tokens for six months, which could deter many investors.
